L85      CLASS 71 GOLDEN ARROW / NIGHT FERRY £5.99 Model Rail Magazine asked us to produce a pack appropriate for use with kits of Electro-Diesel engines and Night Ferry coaches - this was the result. The Class 71, later 73, engines provided modern traction to haul the Golden Arrow and Night Ferry trains towards the end of their days. The 2004 Model Rail issues for the months October, November and December covered building the kits for these trains and detailing the models. The un-lit Hornby Pullmans that are now available in the Railroad range are more like the post 1951 cars than the new illuminated models. The Wrenn models have the square toilet windows of the real cars.
